Ireland to Germany - June 22, 2011

Loy and Wil had to go and renew their ___ (can't remember what it was called) card so CB and I were on our own to get packed up and lock up their place.  CB was ready to head to the local store to buy them a bouquet of flowers because we didn't expect them back before we left and here they came and spoiled our thank you gift.  They were so wonderful, so generous and so giving and there is no way I can properly thank them for their hospitality to us.  Maybe some day we can somehow repay them.  Thanks guys!  You are the best.

Flew in to Stuttgart, Germany at 3:15pm.
Travis, Becky and Taylor were at the airport to pick us up.  We could see them through the gate but had to wait to get our bags which was frustrating.  But we went through customs and got our bags with no problems.  The drive to their house is windy and very pretty with a lot of trees/foresty area intermixed with German towns.  We got to their house where everyone else was hanging out.  Everyone else is Spencer, Linda, Gary, Wanda, Jordan and Brady.  Jordan was outside waiting to see our car which was sweet.  Becky made a delicious spaghetti dinner with cheese toast and bruchetta.  We drank wine, ate, talked and laughed around the table.  It was like a commercial for Olive Garden or maybe a little bit like the movie Parenthood.  The guys headed to a beer garden in Stuttgart and the women and kids stayed home and played a rousing game of Peanuts (Taylor was my partner and is picking it up really well) and a game of spoons.  It is great to see everyone.  Tomorrow we head to Munich and Salzburg, Austria.  I should get to bed now.  More tomorrow... hopefully I'll keep it up to date now Josh.
