June 28, 2011 - Germany at home

We ran errands today and got to see all 3 Air Force bases.  We went with Becky to get our base IDs and got permission for Christopher to drive B&T's van.  We then headed to Travis' base so that CB could play football with Travis and his buddies.  We then had a picnic lunch at Trav's base and headed off to the next base to drop Taylor off for youth group.  While she was at youth group we headed back to the first base to complete CB's permission information to drive and went to the PX to pick up a few items.  Headed back to pick up Taylor and then headed back to base #1 to work out at the gym and get groceries.  Finally at 4:30pm we headed home.  CB made us Spanish Tortillas for dinner which aren't what you think they should be.  A Spanish Tortilla is potatoes, eggs and whatever veggies or meats you want made like an omelet.  He made some for the kids with onions and potatoes and they ate them up really well (they don't like onions).  He made ours with spinach, onions, and mushrooms.... yummm.  We drank beer and ate our tortilla enjoyed each other's company.  Side note:  dinners are always nice, European type of affairs... with everyone helping to cook, set the table, etc then sitting around the table talking, drinking wine or beer (the adults of course) and eating.  Good times. :)
